Nebulized Hydrogen Peroxide To Treat Colds, Flu, Sinus and Covid-19
Mercola’s dose is 0.1% H2O2 diluted in normal saline. (SALINE NOT REGULAR WATER – Using regular water can be damaging to epithelial cells.) They use a 16 ounce glass jar with 2 cups (one pint) of purified boiled (or distilled) water and adjust to 0.9% normal saline (9 grams per liter) using 1 level teaspoon of sea or Himalayan salt in the 2 cups (pint) of water.
Unless using sterile saline, boiling again and cooling helps purify the salt water. Then I add 1/4 teaspoon x 12 (3 teaspoons total) of regular 3% food grade H202 (or if using 12% H202, then only 1/4 teaspoon x 3 ) into the pint of normal saline to create a 0.1% dilution. (Dr. Brownstein uses 0.04% concentration – so it would be only half the amount of H202.
And Brownstein recommends adding 2 drops of Lugol’s 2% iodine solution.) They label and refrigerate – keeping covered in the frig for stability, it can last several days. He advises using 1/4 teaspoon at a time of this solution when nebulizing – perhaps hourly when first sick (with respiratory infection) then decreasing to every 4 to 6 hours?
See videos for more explanation. The doctors advise using a stronger 120vac nebulizer with a mouth piece or mask (even from Amazon) with food grade hydrogen peroxide.
H2O2 dilution charts may look like this (there are 48 teaspoons in a cup):
