I think the eventual introduction of a U.S. dollar CBDC is a given at this point. The real political battle is going to be putting grassroots pressure on Congress to prevent them from abolishing physical cash.

As much as I love Bitcoin and precious metals, physical cash is still the most private form of money we have. Retaining physical cash as a required payment option is going to be one of the major political fights for liberty minded people.
